A common problem faced in communicating scientific results to an audience outside the know is creating meaningful, yet attractive images. To improve my skills in this regard, my latest hobby seeks to push the “colorful” in CFD [:-)] by creating more photorealistic visualizations of simulation results using Blender, some of which are shown below:
